Vuksanovic spoke at the public “Lesson of Love and Tolerance” in Belgrade’s Third Grammar School, commemorating last week’s tragedy involving a student from the Sveti Sava grammar school.
Vuksanovic announced measures including a ban on serving alcohol to minors and the contacting of parents whose children are found in the streets after midnight.
He said that the ministry will propose to municipal authorities and the parliament the introduction of these measures in the form of law.
After the public class, several thousand Belgrade high school students took part in a prayer walk to Saint Sava Church, commemorating the death of 16-year-old Nikola Kovacevic.
The procession included students, teachers, principals, and Minister Vuksanovic.
