National, cultural identity must be cherished

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior Ivica Dacic stated today in Cleveland that Serbia is proud of its citizens in the diaspora and that it will do all it can to continue cherishing the Serbian national and cultural identity.
Addressing members of the diaspora at “Days of Serbia in Ohio”, Dacic underlined that Serbia has outstanding relations with the Ohio state, where a large number of Serbs live.
He voiced his belief that Serbian nationals living in the United States will help Serbia and the USA, former allies in two world wars, to reach mutual understanding, announcing his visit to Illinois, a US state with the largest number of Serbs.
Dacic stressed that there can be only one home country and that it is our duty to preserve our tradition and spirituality.
Minister of Religion and the Diaspora Srdjan Sreckovic also attended "Days of Serbia in Ohio".
