Police search several facilities in Novi Pazar and surroundings

The Ministry of the Interior stated that early this morning the police, in cooperation with the Security and Intelligence Agency, searched 18 facilities in and around Novi Pazar, Sjenica and Tutin.
The statement adds that 17 persons were arrested on suspicion of being members of the radical Wahhabi movement and closely related to Mevlid Jasarevic.
Of the arrested persons, 12 are from Novi Pazar, two from Tutin and Sjenica each and one is a national of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The police confiscated 18 computers and laptops, around 1,800 CDs, 30 audio tapes, 50 SMS cards, 17 video tapes and a camera, three knives and a sabre, and books on the Wahhabi movement, the statement adds.
