Unilateral solutions will not calm tensions in region

Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic said today that a high degree of unity has been achieved in the Serbian parliament regarding Kosovo-Metohija and regarding support to the Serbian government policy toward the southern Serbian province, showing that Serbia has turned to a realistic policy in solving the biggest state and national issue.
Cvetkovic told FoNet news agency that the Parliament sent a clear message to Serbs living in Kosovo-Metohija that Serbia will lead to a realistic, planned and the only possible action directed towards finding a just solution.
The Parliament has sent a strong message to Kosovo Albanians that Serbia is not their enemy, and that Serbia does not want any conflict nor an uncertain future, but peace, stability, dialogue and a just solution, affirmed Cvetkovic.
He conveyed that a clear message was also sent to the world, especially countries supporting Kosovo's independence, that is, that any unilateral solutions will not calm tensions in the region and that Serbia is a crucial partner to all those who want stability in this part of Europe.
