Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic said today after talks with Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Møller that Denmark strongly supports Serbia’s EU integration.
Jeremic,
who is visiting Denmark, stated for Fonet news agency that Denmark also supports the urgent removal of visa restrictions for Serbian citizens.
Belgrade and Copenhagen have differences over the Kosovo issue but we succeeded in isolating the problem, said Jeremic.
He said that he also talked with Møller about economic cooperation between the two countries and Danish investments in Serbia, particularly about developmental assistance.
Jeremic said that Denmark will donate €6 million to Serbia for agriculture and energy.
The Serbian and Danish foreign ministers today signed an agreement on double taxation avoidance and on encouraging and mutually protecting investments.
Jeremic also talked with Chair of the Danish Parliament’s Foreign Policy Committee Gitte Lillelund Bech and attended the signing of an agreement on cooperation between the Danish and Serbian chambers of commerce.
