Government adopts additional incentives for economy

The Serbian government at today’s session adopted amendments to the programme of measures for mitigating the negative impact of the global economic crisis in Serbia.
Namely, it adopted additional incentive measures aimed as support to the economy, which will be implemented from May 18 and which imply additional funds to ensure company liquidity.
The government adopted the bill on the Diaspora and Serbs in the region, the bill on obligatory insurance in traffic, amendments to the Law on the execution of prison sentences and the bill affirming the agreement on free trade between Serbia and Belarus.
It also passed the decision on the participation of the Ministry of Defence’s medical staff and the Serbian Army to aid Norwegian troops in peace missions in Chad and Central African Republic.
