Protest conveyed to Latvia, Senegal over recognition of Kosovo’s independence

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that it conveyed today letters of protest to the governments of Latvia and Senegal after these countries recognised the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo-Metohija.
According to the statement, the letters of protest convey that the Serbian government does not accept the unilateral and illegitimate declaration of independence by Kosovo-Metohija, and point to the consequences that this illegal act could have for security.
The letters of protest state that the unilateral declaration of independence by Kosovo-Metohija is a serious violation of the international law and Serbia demands that countries which have recognised the independence of Kosovo-Metohija reexamine their stance.
