Kostunica, Tadic host reception for European water polo champions

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica and Serbian President Boris Tadic hosted a reception for European water polo champions at the Deputies' Club today and thanked the Serbian water polo team on winning the gold medal at the European Water Polo Championship.

Kostunica said that no team has won gold in such a convincing way.
You knew how to play and you knew who you played for. You have set an example that many should follow, and I do not only mean sportsmen, said the Prime Minister.
Simply, thank you, the players and the team management, and the Water Polo Association. Thank you for the success that made all Serbian citizens proud, said Tadic at the reception.
Kostunica and Tadic presented the water polo players a set of postal stamps with sporting motifs as well as a set of medals from the Championship.
The reception was also attended by government members, officials of Serbian sports associations and clubs.
