Brnabic said that the government appreciates the efforts, knowledge and their courage to go to that competition and win.
The team comprising Konstantin Ljepava (the 6th grade) and Aleksa Boskovic (the 7th grade) was awarded at Eurobot Junior contest in Paris, in the competition of students up to 18 years of age.
Brnabic congratulaied them on the success and pointed out that in this way they showed that Serbia has innovations and knowledge, and that the government is there to support it and to encourage it.
We want the society to be based on knowledge, because only with knowledge, effort and perseverance can we make Serbia that can be competitive in the long run and has economic growth that will help us to catch the EU countries by the standards, she said.
The Prime Minister said that the government will continue to invest in innovations, start-up companies, and stressed that it is important that a knowledge society be created in schools so that young people can fight for jobs in the future, which we now do not know what will be.
She pointed out that Aleksa and Konstantin are a real example of this and should be a role model for young people.
