Serbian Minister of Capital Investment Velimir Ilic and Corrine Brown of the US Congress met today to discuss the situation in Kosovo-Metohija and agreed that UN Security Council Resolution 1244 must be observed.
During the meeting, Brown committed to informing the US Congress on the current situation in Kosovo-Metohija and urged for direct exchange of information between the American and Serbian authorities on developments in the province.
The two officials also said that overall economic recovery of the region would help resolve the Kosovo problem and added that a direct investment of some $1 million would help create 48,000 jobs.
