Minister of Foreign Affairs in a caretaker capacity Marko Đurić said today, during a meeting with newly appointed Austrian Ambassador to Serbia Enno Drofenik, that relations between the two countries are at a high level and that there is room for their further enhancement.

Đurić emphasised the need to further strengthen political dialogue, bearing in mind that Austria is one of Serbia’s most important economic partners.
The officials also discussed Austria’s support for Serbia’s European path, with the head of Serbian diplomacy expressing confidence that Austria will continue to support Serbia through the existing cooperation frameworks.
Đurić said that Austria’s participation in Expo 2027 is another confirmation of the friendship between the two countries and an important opportunity to further strengthen their ties and create new opportunities for cooperation.
