At the police college in Zemun today, Serbian Assistant Minister of Interior Miroslav Milosevic opened a two-day working shop on strategic planning, within a second stage of a reform project called “Strategic Planning and Development of the Serbian Ministry of Interior.”
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is helping to implement the project, while the working shop participants include the project manager Ted Tunis, consultant Tom Renken, and Gas Godden of the RCMP. Monitoring the implementation are OSCE representatives led by Marc Downs, the Serbian Ministry of Interior said in a statement.
The Canadian government is funding the entire project, which is being carried out within the SEPKA, an association of police chiefs of Southeastern Europe.
