Opening the first Serbian brand fair, Bubalo explained that creating a brand means giving a life to a product, thus hopefully making a consumer loyal to a product and believing in its quality. He added that Serbia has not created a single internationally protected brand so far.
The Ministry of Economy said that Serbia sees its greatest opportunity in creating brands in the field of agricultural and food production. He pointed out that through the creation of brands, it is possible to turn a negative Serbian image into a one of quality that people will trust in, adding that Serbia has much to offer in this area.
As part of the brand fair, which will last for two days and where around 70 of the most famous trade marks will be presented, a professional symposium will also be held where 20 marketing researchers and professionals will present their research results in this field.
