Minister of Justice and Public Administration Nikola Selakovic said in Venice that the correction of mistakes that were made in creating the current network of courts in Serbia will be corrected, which will make justice become much more accessible, more efficient and more present in all parts of the country.

Selakovic, who is participating in the 94th plenary session of the Venice Commission, said that this is not an easy road and it requires time.
He pointed out that it is very important to start this job in a good way so that every step is planned in detail.
We have to have an insight into the real situation in the courts and public prosecutors’ offices and to know about the problems faced by judges and prosecutors, he said.
But most importantly, we need to know about the problems faced by the citizens of Serbia on the road to justice, said the Minister.
The Serbian Ministry of Justice Justice and Public Administration sent to the Venice Commission draft proposals amending the Law on judges, Law on courts and Law on public prosecution, he said and noted that the Venice Commission experts will present their expertise and opinions which will point to the mistakes made in the judicial reform in Serbia.
