Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Professor Dragan Glamočić, PhD, emphasised after the session of the Operational Team for the Coordination of Activities for the Prevention, Early Detection, Control and Eradication of African Swine Fever, that since 10 July, there has been a gradual decrease in the number of new cases of this disease.

The session specifically touched upon the need to maintain a high level of preparedness due to the risk of the emergence of other infectious animal diseases, primarily peste des petits ruminants, which has not been confirmed in Serbia, but is present in the immediate vicinity.
The Team adopted a series of conclusions that further strengthen the crisis management system.
