Acting Director of the Forestry Administration Vladimir Nikolić stated that a total of 36,101 domestic pigs have died or have been euthanised since the beginning of the year.
According to him, it is encouraging that fewer new cases of infection have been recorded in recent days and that this trend is expected to continue.
According to him, the situation in the Srem, Mačva and Kolubara districts, as well as in the Belgrade area, where the risk is highest, is being monitored with particular attention.
