Selakovic, who yesterday visited 13 Serbian nationals in the detention unit in Scheveningen, said that all detainees expect help from the state in the provision of evidence and preparation of their closing arguments for the defence.
He noted that so far Serbia has not provided such an organised support unlike some other countries.
Selakovic is Serbia's first justice minister to visit ICTY detainees awaiting verdicts for war crimes in the former Yugoslavia.
He announced amending regulations concerning the provision of assistance and support to our detained citizens, noting that the Serbian government will very soon introduce those measure, according to a press release from the Ministry of Justice and Public Administration.
