The Ministry of Defence said that during the meeting the two officials specifically highlighted the great potential in improving the military-economic cooperation through the exchange of technology in the production of arms and military equipment, production and overhaul of aeronautical technical resources, as well as a joint appearance on third markets.
It was estimated that the established cooperation between the two universities of defence enables the sharing of experiences in various scientific fields.
Vucic said that Serbia, following its decision on military neutrality, will not join military alliances, but will try to use the available mechanisms of the Partnership for Peace programme.
The First Deputy Prime Minister thanked the Czech Republic on support in the process of European integration and assisting in the reform of the defence system.
He pointed out that the Ministry of Defence and the Serbian Armed Forces are interested in participating in the work of the International Logistics Coordination Centre of the Czech Armed Forces in Prague.
Particular interest was displayed in the Military Medical Academy facilities and cooperation of special units, the statement said, adding that they emphasised the importance of involvement of armed forces in multinational operations and the ability to share experiences and joint training.
