Parliament’s extraordinary sitting scheduled for tomorrow

Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic scheduled the ninth extraordinary sitting of parliament with 36 items on the agenda for tomorrow, including the budget revision proposal.
A statement by the Serbian parliament says that the sitting, which will begin at 15.00, was convened at the request of 123 MPs.
MPs will discuss a package of financial laws that should help reduce the budget deficit, facilitate business activities and foster economic recovery.
MPs will also discuss the amendments to the Law on Pension and Disability Insurance, a proposal for the election of the Vice Governor of the National Bank of Serbia and the Council of the State Audit Institution, as well as the ratification of several international agreements.
