Members of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia today adopted the Law amending the Law on the Election of the President of the Republic, the Law amending the Law on the Election of Members of Parliament, the Law amending the Law on Local Elections and the Law amending the Law on the Constitutional Court.

Serbian parliament adopts set of electoral laws

The adoption of these laws is part of activities aimed at improving electoral procedures in Serbia through the implementation of recommendations from the Final Report of the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) Election Observation Mission on the parliamentary elections held on 17 December 2023.
The MPs also adopted the Decision amending the Decision on the Composition of Permanent Delegations of the National Assembly to International Parliamentary Institutions and the Decision amending the Decision on the Election of Members and Deputy Members of Committees of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, thus concluding the third sitting of the regular spring session of the National Assembly.
