PIK announces results of elections in Vojvodina

The Provincial Electoral Commission (PIK) of Vojvodina said last night that according the final results of the elections held on 6 and 20 May, according to the proportional system and the preliminary results by the majority system in 59 out of 60 constituencies, the list "Choice for a Better Vojvodina Bojan Pajtic" won a total of 56 seats in the Assembly of Vojvodina.
The statement said that the next is a coalition led by the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) with a total of 22 parliamentary seats and the coalition led by the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) with 13 seats.
The League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) has a total of ten seats, eight seats went to the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians (SVM), five belong to the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), four to the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS), and one mandate to the Liberal Democratic Party (LDP).
The voting by the majority voting system will be repeated in the constituency 29 Novi Knezevac at the polling station number 13,under the decision of the municipal election commission.
The Assembly of AP Vojvodina has a total of 120 members, half of whom are elected by proportional representation, and the remaining 60 by the majority voting model.
