Tadic and Nikolic, who won 969, 639 votes and 956,588 votes respectively entered the second round of the presidential election scheduled for 20 May.
The third-ranked in the competition for the president of Serbia is the candidate of the coalition Socialist Party of Serbia-Party of United Pensioners of Serbia-United Serbia (SPS-PUPS-JS) Ivica Dacic with 14.24 % of the vote. There was a total of 4.47% invalid ballot papers at the presidential election.
The candidate of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS) Vojislav Kostunica won 7.44% of votes, while the candidate of the United Regions of Serbia (URS) Zoran Stankovic scored 6.56% of votes, and the candidate of “U-Turn” Cedomir Jovanovic won 5.03% .
The presidential candidate of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS) Jadranka Seselj won 3.78% of votes and the candidate of the group of citizens "Dveri" Vladan Glisic 2.77%.
The candidate of the group of citizens "Movement of Workers and Peasants" Zoran Dragisic scored 1.53% of votes, while the candidate of the group of citizens Muamer Zukorlic won 1.41% of votes.
The candidate of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians Istvan Pasztor won 1.65% of votes, whereas the candidate of the Social Democratic Alliance Danica Grujicic had less than 1%, i.e. 0.79% of votes.
The RIK also released the interim results of the parliamentary election on the basis of 97.51% of polling places, according to which the list of candidates “Let’s Get Serbia Moving - Tomislav Nikolic" scored the best result and won 24.01% of votes or 73 seats in the Serbian parliament.
The list "Choice for a Better Life - Boris Tadic" won 22.07% of votes or 67 seats. The third-ranked is the list "Ivica Dacic - SPS-PUPS-JS", which won 14.54 % of votes or 44 seats.
The fourth-ranked is the list "DSS - Vojislav Kostunica," which won 7% or 21 mandates, then "URS - Mladjan Dinkic" with 5.51% of the vote or 16 seats, while "U-Turn - Cedomir Jovanovic" scored 6.53% of the vote or 20 seats and the "SRS Vojislav Seselj" won 4.61%, which was not enough to enter the parliament.
The list "Dveri for the life of Serbia" won 4.34% of the vote, "Movement of Workers and Peasants" 1.46%, “Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians - Istvan Pasztor” 1.77%, which altogether is five seats in the parliament.
The lists that won less than 1% of the vote are the "Party of Democratic Action of Sandzak - Sulejman Ugljanin" 0.72% or two seats, the list "All Together" 0.64%, which is one mandate won, the Communist Party "Josip Broz" 0.74%, "Coalition of Albanians of the Presevo Valley" 0.30%, and the Social Democratic Alliance – Nebojsa Lekovic” 0.43%.
The list "None of the Answers Available” won 0.59% of votes, the "Reformist Party - Milan Visnjic" 0.22% and the lowest number of votes went to the “Montenegrin Party - Nenad Stevovic” 0.10%.
When it comes to the elections in Kosovo-Metohija, the RIK has processed 85 out of 90 polling stations for the presidential election, and 84 out of 90 polling stations for the parliamentary election.
In the presidential election in Kosovo-Metohija Tomislav Nikolic is the first-ranked with 21.09% of the votes, then Vojislav Kostunica with 20.75%, Ivica Dacic with 20.36% and Boris Tadic with 18.97% of the votes.
In the parliamentary election in the province, the list "Ivica Dacic- SPS-PUPS-JS" is the first-ranked with 20.43% of the votes, then "DSS - Vojislav Kostunica" with 19.90%, the third-ranked is the list “Let’s Get Serbia Moving - Tomislav Nikolic” with 19.79% and the fourth-ranked is the "Choice for a Better Life - Boris Tadic" with 17.41% of the votes.
The Serbian Radical Party got 8.77% of the vote and the United Regions of Serbia 6.37%. All other lists of candidates got significantly less votes.
In Kosovo-Metohija, 30.47 % of the citizens enrolled in the electoral register cast their votes.
The RIK will release the final results within 96 hours from the termination of the elections.
