Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic today expressed confidence that the draft law on restitution and indemnification will get the necessary support in parliament because it is a long-awaited law, and is important for the opinion of the European Commission (EC).

Djelic told the press in the Serbian parliament, where
he explained the bill, that the Serbian government yesterday approved two amendments to the proposal of the law.
The first amendment refers to members of the occupation forces who will not be entitled to restitution, he said.
As for the victims of the Holocaust, the second amendment determined that the victims of the Holocaust and fascism include members of the Jewish community, with most casualties, Serbs, Roma and other nations, said Djelic.
