President Boris Tadic said today that the participation of the Serbian Army in joint exercises with the Armed Forces of Bulgaria in Shabla near Varna in eastern Bulgaria is another proof of good relations between the two countries, two armies and two people.

The Serbian President thanked Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov and Minister of Defence Anyu Angelov for the opportunity given to the 250th Air Defence Missile Brigade and the 204th Air Defence Brigade of the Serbian Army within military exercise "Autumn 2011".
Tadic also congratulated the Prime Minister of Bulgaria for the good results in economy and infrastructure projects.
He said that the goal for Serbia is accession to the EU and Serbia would like to take this road following the experience of Bulgaria in the field of security and economy.
He also said that Serbia wants to complete the construction of infrastructure facilities and to extend cooperation with Bulgaria in the fields of culture and sport.
The military exercise was also attended by Minister of Defence Dragan Sutanovac, Bulgarian Interior Minister Tsvetan Tsvetanov, and heads of two countries’ armies Gen. Simeon Simeonov and Gen. Miloje Miletic and other senior military officials.
