At today’s session it also adopted amendments to the Law on air traffic, which prescribe the formation of a Centre for investigating aviation crashes and serious incidents as a separate and independent institution.
The Parliament also adopted a Law on amendments to the Law on health care and a Law on amendments to the Law on health insurance which, among other things, extend the circle of people who meet the conditions for health insurance and include gender reassignment surgery for medical reasons in the set of medical services covered by the state.
Amendments to the Law ratifying an Optional Protocol to the Convention against Torture and Other Cruel, Inhuman or Degrading Treatment or Punishment was also adopted, as well as laws ratifying an agreement between the Serbian government and the Albanian Council of Ministers on the readmission of persons illegally staying in the country and an agreement between the Serbian and Cypriot governments on cooperation in defence.
The Parliament passed a Law ratifying a Memorandum of Understanding between the Serbian government, represented by the Ministry of Defence, and the government of Kuwait, represented by their Ministry of Defence, on cooperation in this remit.
With the adoption of these laws and the appointment of the president and members of the Council of the Serbian Energy Agency, MPs concluded their work which will be resumed after a summer break.
