Solutions for certain problems of Serbs in Kosovo expected soon

Head of the Serbian negotiating team in the dialogue with the provisional institutions of self-government in Pristina Borislav Stefanovic said today that Serbia and the team will not do anything that would certify the province’s independence.

Addressing MPs, he said that agreed solutions will help overcome the problems of Serbs in the province.
Stefanovic said that there are different interpretations coming from Pristina and pointed out that some information are not true.
We expect to agree on three to four themes in the coming days, he reiterated.
Stefanovic said that it is certain that the citizens of Kosovo-Metohija will not be able to use the so-called "Kosovo passports", nor the license plates that read "Kosovo Republic" with the coat-of-arms of Kosovo.
Announcing that the Serbian parliament will be presented with the results of the talks, he reiterated that talks with Pristina and the agreed solutions will not mean recognition of the unilaterally proclaimed independence of the southern province.
