Serbian Deputy Prime Minister Miroljub Labus said last night at the award presentation ceremony for best exporter in 2004, organised by the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency (SIEPA), that our exporters can be competitive in the European market. Tigar MH from Pirot was proclaimed the best exporter of the year.

Labus said that establishment of this prize is very important both for promoting export and improving the nation’s spirit, noting that Serbia’s export growth rate was 22 percent year-on-year.
Serbian Minister of Trade, Tourism and Services Bojan Dimitrijevic handed over the prize in the category of small and medium-sized enterprises to Enterijer Jankovic company, whose exporting markets range from France to Kazakhstan.
Serbian Minister of International Economic Relations Milan Parivodic presented the prize for best-exported product to Fresh&Co for their Next raspberry juice.
Gornji Milanovac-based Metalac won the prize for winning new markets, with their products appearing this year in the markets of South Korea, Egypt, Ukraine, Slovakia and Czech Republic.
