Exports stood at $2.86 billion, up 26 percent from a year earlier, while imports totalled $8.49 billion, a 42.3 percent jump against the same period of 2003.
Foreign trade deficit reached $5.63 billion, widening 52.4 percent against the same period a year earlier.
Most exported products were intermediate goods, 55.3 percent, consumer goods, 27.6 percent, and equipment, 6.1 percent.
Intermediate goods accounted for 57.3 percent of total imports, followed by consumer goods, 23 percent, and equipment, 19.5 percent.
The largest importers of Serbian products were Bosnia-Herzegovina, Italy, and Germany, while most of Serbia’s imports were from Germany, Russia, and Italy.
