The members of the Serbian parliament adopted a Declaration late yesterday condemning crimes against the Serbian people and citizens, which condemns in the harshest terms crimes committed during armed conflicts in the former Yugoslavia in the 1990s and expresses regret and solidarity with victims of the NATO bombing that took place in 1999.
The declaration was voted for by 133 MPs. It also voices the harshest condemnation of crimes against Serbs in Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Kosovo-Metohija and calls on the parliaments of other countries, first and foremost from the territory of the ex Yugoslavia, to condemn these crimes as well.
After adopting the declaration, Serbian parliament speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic opened a new session and after setting the agenda, stated that the session will be continued on 19 October.
