Expounding the Bill on air traffic, Mrkonjic said that the current law that was adopted in 1998 is outdated and prevents the development of this kind of traffic.
The new law regulates details regarding airports and airport services, the prevention of noise and fuel burn pollution and fines for those who do not comply with these regulations, the Minister explained.
Mrkonjic confirmed that the law was made based on European standards, which entails standards of safety and life insurance of passengers.
Speaking about the Bill on navigation and ports, the Minister outlined that it regulates the safety of navigation and waterways, as well as the legal status of ports and piers.
The Bill is based on the principle that ports and piers are of general interest and that they should be public property, Mrkonjic concluded.
