54.47% of voters go to elections for national minority councils

The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights stated that the elections for national councils of national minorities living in Serbia were held on 6 June.
Miratovac/Presevo - Elections for national councils of national minorities
Sixteen national minorities elected representatives for their national councils through direct elections, while electoral assemblies were held for two national minorities.
According to preliminary results, 54.47% of the total of 436,334 registered voters went to the polls.
Electoral assemblies were held for the Croatian and Slovene national minorities, while the work of the assembly for the Macedonian national minority was postponed due to an insufficient number of voters. Out of the 45 necessary voters, 42 were present so this is why the holding of a new electoral assembly will be scheduled in due course.
The unofficial results of the elections can be viewed on the web page of the Ministry of Human and Minority Rights (www.ljudskaprava.gov.rs).
Official results will be released on 9 June, it is added in the statement by the Ministry.
