Participants in the meeting agreed that EIB should provide a new credit line for the SME sector. This year's credit line has been more than doubled compared with 2002, to €45 million, with €40 million to be appropriated for SME lending and the remaining €5 million for micro loans.
Negotiations on the new credit line are due to be completed by the end of June at the latest.
Dinkic gave his support for other infrastructure projects proposed by the bank, particularly Corridor 10 rehabilitation, railway, air traffic control and water supply projects, as well as infrastructure projects in the health and education sectors, totaling some €280 million.
