Parliament approves 2009 budget revision

The Serbian Parliament today passed the bill amending the 2009 budget law. Amendments to the Criminal Code and to the law on the prevention of violence and improper behaviour at sporting events were also passed.

Laws on fire protection, emergency situations and administrative disputes were passed. Amendments to the misdemeanour law and the law on the trade of non-movable property were passed.
MPs passed the amendments to the laws on the regulation of courts, civil procedure and the Security and Intelligence Agency.
Parliament elected 876 judges for a three year term of service in general and special courts, as well as 88 deputy public prosecutors.
The demand for relieving Constitutional Court Judge Stanka Milanovic of duty was approved. The proposal concerning the termination of duties of several judges was passed.
The MPs did not elect Professor at the Belgrade Faculty of Law Zoran Tomic as a member of the High Judicial Council.
Goran Karadzic, Svetozar Stojanovic and Porfirije Peric were elected as members of the Serbian Broadcasting Agency.
