Tadic to submit Serbia’s application for EU candidacy today

Serbian President Boris Tadic will today submit Serbia’s application for EU candidacy to Prime Minister of Sweden Fredrik Reinfeldt. Sweden currently holds the EU presidency.
The ceremony for the presentation of the application will begin at 2.30 pm. EU Enlargement Commissioner Olli Rehn will be present at the ceremony.
The Serbian delegation includes Deputy Prime Minister for EU integration Bozidar Djelic, Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic, Director of the Serbian government’s EU Integration Office Milica Delevic, Serbian Ambassador to EU Roksanda Nincic and Serbian Ambassador to Sweden Ninoslav Stojadinovic.
