Parliament adopts Law on establishing Vojvodina’s jurisdictions

Serbian parliament members adopted today the Law on establishing the jurisdictions of Vojvodina and confirmed the Statute of Vojvodina.
After voting on these two documents, parliament started a new session, on whose agenda was the election of judiciary officials.
The High Judiciary Council proposed the outgoing acting president of the Supreme Court of Serbia Nata Mesarovic as president of the Supreme Court of Cassation.
The Serbian government proposed acting public prosecutor of the District Court of Belgrade Zagorka Dolovac as public prosecutor of the Republic of Serbia.
