Serbian parliament today adopted the Agreement on the Loan for Corridor 10, signed between Serbia and the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development, envisaging a loan of €275.5 million, or $380 million.
The Agreement envisages a repayment period of 20 years, with an eight year grace period. The loan will be delivered to Serbia twice a year, on April 15 and October 15, and will be used for construction work, carried out by the Koridor 10 Company, founded by the public road company Putevi Srbije.
The parliament also affirmed the Agreement on Economic and Technical Cooperation between Serbia and China which creates the conditions for cooperation between these countries over railway and road infrastructure, energy and telecommunications.
The parliament also ratified the Agreement on Cooperation signed between the former government of the Socialist Republic of Yugoslavia and the European Organisation for the Exploitation of Meteorological Satellites (EUMETSAT), which is important for monitoring climate change.
