Parliament adopts several laws, confirms 38 international conventions, agreements

Parliament adopted last night the Law amending the Law on foreign affairs, Law amending the Law on agricultural land and the Law on well being of animals.
Also, the Law amending the Law on broadcasting and the Law banning Nazi and fascist events and organisations were adopted.
Parliament also confirmed 38 international conventions and agreements in culture, military, financial and trade cooperation.
MPs ratified the Revised European Social Charter and Strasbourg Agreement on International Classification of Patents of March 24, 1971, revised on September 28, 1979.
MPs confirmed the Agreement on military cooperation with Austria, Agreement with the US on prevention of mass destruction weapons and promotion of defence and military relations.
MPs elected Professor Radmila Vasic as member of the Anti-Corruption Agency.
Parliamentary Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic scheduled a session for June 1 to discuss the Draft law amending the Law on citizens income tax.
