Parliament adopts several bills, affirms 16 agreements, conventions

Serbian parliament today adopted the bills on foreign trade, standardisation, technical requirements for products and harmonisation assessment which synchronise the Serbian legislature with EU laws and WTO regulations.
Parliament also adopted amendments to the Law on the chambers of commerce, the bill on tourism, the bill on employment and unemployment insurance, as well as the bill on professional rehabilitation and employment of the disabled.
It affirmed 16 international agreements, protocols and conventions from various remits, including trade, economic, scientific and financial cooperation.
The new parliament session has been scheduled for 4 pm today with 59 items on the agenda, the first being the bill on road safety.
