Parliament approves 2009 budget

The Serbian Parliament approved the budget law for 2009 this evening.
The bill on the 2009 budget was passed earlier, with 128 MPs voting in favour and 29 against.
At the Serbian government’s request parliament speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic has scheduled a special parliamentary session, to be held on December 30, to examine amendments to the penal code.
