Dragutinovic said the government has so far accepted 13 amendments to the proposed budget, adding that there are many similar amendments, which will most likely also be adopted.
The Minister yesterday began consultations in the parliament with individual opposition caucuses that had submitted amendments to the proposed budget and accompanying laws.
Prior to that, all caucuses had held consultations with Prime Minister Cvetkovic on possibilities to shorten the time for debates on amendments so that the budget could be adopted before the year’s end, that is, December 29 at midnight, when this year’s regular parliament session officially ends.
