The agenda will include proposed decisions on terminating the term of office of members of the council of the National Bank of Serbia and election of new ones, submitted by the financial committee, as well as the election of deputy ombudsman, at the ombudsman’s proposal.
Parliament will also look at the proposal by the judicial committee on terminating the term of office of judges and attorneys and the proposal to appoint deputy parliament secretary, submitted by the administration committee.
Djukic-Dejanovic has scheduled a special session to be held on September 26 at which regulations related to removal of visa restrictions and anti-corruption laws will be examined.
At the session, which has been called at the Serbian government’s request, there will be eight items on the agenda, including bills on personal information protection, border security and foreigners, which must be adopted in order to meet conditions for Serbia’s inclusion in the White Schengen List.
MPs will also discuss bills on confiscation of assets obtained by criminal activities, criminal accountability of legal persons, Anti-Corruption Agency, as well as amendments to the law on financing of political parties.
The last item on the agenda is the bill on confirming an additional protocol accompanying the Convention for the Protection of Individuals with regard to Automatic Processing of Personal Data.
