Tadic will go to New York on September 21 where he will have over 30 meetings with representatives of UN member states, while his address to the UN General Assembly is scheduled for September 23, on the first day of the general debate.
Tadic will negotiate with representatives of UN member states about Serbia’s initiative that the International Court of Justice (ICJ) gives its advisory opinion on whether the unilateral declaration of Kosovo’s independence is in accordance with international law.
The Serbian President will point out the importance of improving economic relations with UN member states.
Tadic will also participate in the presentation “Investing in Serbia”, to be held on September 24 in the Harvard Club in New York and in the round table discussion themed “Viable Environment Development”, on September 25, in the UN headquarters.
Minister of Foreign Affaires Vuk Jeremic will also be part of the delegation, concludes the statement.
