According to a statement issued by the speaker’s cabinet, a meeting between party representatives will be held on June 9, at which details of the constitutive session will be agreed upon.
The session will be held to verify the mandates of newly elected MPs, and the parliament will be formed through verification of a minimum of two thirds majority.
From the moment of the formation of the new parliament, a 90 day deadline will begin within from which the parliament must elect a new government.
The constitutive session will be presided over by the most senior of the newly elected MPs, president of the Party of United Pensioners of Serbia Jovan Krkobabic.
