Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica addressed all EU member states today, saying that they cannot interpret Serbia’s signature to the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) as its signing away of Kosovo’s.
We want to let the NATO Pact and all EU member states that recognised the fictitious state of Kosovo know that this illegal signature cannot be interpreted as Serbia’s signature to Kosovo’s independence, reads the Serbian Prime Minister’s statement to the Tanjug news agency.
The new Serbian government and new parliament will immediately declare this illegitimate signature null and void. We will never allow anyone to sign away Kosovo’s independence on behalf of Serbia, Kostunica reiterated.
