During Macut’s conversation with citizens at the City Hall, it was concluded that employment is one of the main problems of the residents of Niš, while another group of problems concerns infrastructure, for which several solutions have already been identified.
I want every citizen to know that their voice will be heard and that the problems they face will be forwarded to relevant institutions faster and more efficiently, the Prime Minister underlined.
He recalled that, after Vranje, this is the second Prime Minister’s office outside Belgrade and another step towards a policy of bringing institutions closer to citizens, so that they do not have to travel hundreds of kilometres to solve their problems.
According to him, the opening of such offices aims to strengthen communication between the Government of Serbia, ministries, local self-governments and citizens.
The Prime Minister also said that significant infrastructure projects are being implemented in Niš, including the completion of a maternity hospital, the construction of a student dormitory, and the execution of works on the second phase of the construction of the Constantine the Great airport.
