The Council of EU Ministers and Serbia are to sign the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA), it was stated in Luxemburg.
The EU Chairman, Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, said that ministers of EU countries have decided to sign the SAA with Serbia as well as a provisional document on the basis of which Serbia would be granted access to almost 90% of benefits based on the SAA even before all EU members ratify the SAA with Serbia.
Rupel said that implementation of the accompanying document will depend on Serbia's cooperation with the Hague tribunal.
