The Serbian Electoral Commission stated that at parliamentary elections scheduled for May 11, Serbian citizens living abroad will be able to vote in 42 countries at 78 polling stations, which is 13 stations more than at the previous presidential election.
The statement adds that over 52,000 Serbian citizens living abroad have the right to vote, and according to estimates, the upcoming elections will cost RSD 15.5 million.
This is around RSD 1.5 million more than the previous presidential election and the increase in expenses is due to a larger number of polling stations.
The largest number of polling stations will be opened in Montenegro (7), Germany (6), the US (6) and Switzerland (5).
For the first time, Serbian citizens will be able to vote in Qatar, where Serbia does not have a diplomatic mission.
