Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica said last night in the talks with Russian Minister for Emergency Situations and Disaster Relief Sergei Shoigu that Serbia is grateful for humanitarian aid which Russia sent to the Serbian people in the province of Kosovo-Metohija.
Shoigu expressed concern over the fact that Serbia has not ratified the energy agreement which representatives of the governments of Russia and Serbia signed in Moscow, and underlined that it would be important that the Serbian government and Serbian parliament ratify this agreement by May 11.
Kostunica said that the energy agreement has great importance and that it is in the interest of both countries that this agreement is implemented shortly. He said that he will raise this issue again in the Serbian government.
The talks were also attended by Minister of Trade and Services Predrag Bubalo and Minister for Kosovo-Metohija Slobodan Samardzic.
