Kostunica said in a written statement that if Brussels does that, everything will be clear.
He reiterated that after the proclamation of unilateral independence and the illegal deployment of the EU mission in Kosovo, Belgrade must receive an answer from Brussels stating what it is exactly that Serbia is to sign with the EU.
I now publicly call upon all EU officials to reply to Serbian citizens on whether they agree that the SAA includes the sentence stating that Kosovo is Serbia, stressed Kostunica.
He said that in case the EU responds affirmatively, he is ready to endorse the signing of the SAA immediately and added that he is certain that all Serbs will support such an agreement because that would be in Serbia’s interest.
If the EU succumbs to US and NATO pressure and refuses to add these words to the SAA, but instead wants to sign the agreement on April 28 without this sentence, that would mean that NATO intends to use our signature to claim that Serbia has acknowledged the fictitious state of Kosovo, concluded the Prime Minister.
