RIK will carry out all the tasks necessary for holding local elections in Kosovo, in line with
the Serbian government’s Information adopted on April 3 on the organisation and implementation of parliamentary and local elections in Kosovo scheduled for May 11.
In the territory of Kosovo-Metohija, as a part of Serbia, voting for the election of members to municipal assemblies and the assembly of Pristina will be carried out at the same polling stations at which voting for the election of parliament members is carried out.
The polling stations in Kosovo-Metohija will be determined by RIK on the proposal of heads of administrative districts of Kosovo-Metohija, by April 20 at the latest.
In Kosovo-Metohija, voting will be held in the municipalities of Vitina, Vucitrn, Gnjilane, Gora, Zvecan, Zubin Potok, Istok, Klina, Kosovo Polje, Kosovska Kamenica, Kosovska Mitrovica, Leposavic, Lipljan, Novo Brdo, Obilic, Orahovac, Pec, Podujevo, Prizren, Srbica, Urocevac and Strpce, and in the town of Pristina.
Voters who are internally displaced from Kosovo-Metohija and voters internally displaced within Kosovo-Metohija will vote in the municipalities in which they are registered with the status of internally displaced persons, and at special polling stations to be determined by RIK by April 25.
RIK will release the total number of voters for every municipality of Kosovo-Metohija by April 20.
The lists of candidates should be submitted to RIK by midnight of April 25 at the latest, and the list of candidates may be withdrawn by April 30 at the latest.
Any voter, candidate and proposer of the list of candidates may submit an objection to RIK to the decision on the result of elections for municipal assemblies in Kosovo-Metohija within 24 hours from the day the decision is published in the Official Gazette.
